Tier 0 - Best of the best, the most powerful characters of each section and easiest to play, generally easy to build and have cheap team options.

Tier 0.5 - These characters have something that is keeping them out of tier 0, but are still better than tier 1, can be seen as an extension of tier 0.

Tier 1 - Generally, characters that are now a bit outdated and don't hold up as much as the newer characters.

Tier 1.5 - These characters have something that is keeping them out of tier 1, but are still better than tier 2, can be seen as an extension of tier 1.

Tier 2 - Characters that are still usable, but have multiple things holding them back, from a lack of buffs, to just doing less damage or more simple kit than new characters.

Tier 3 - Weak and not worth using unless you really like the character.
Tier 4 - Weak and not worth using unless you really like the character, needs a lot of investment to be good.

Aftershock - Characters that either use aftershocks, or want to be used with aftershock team members.

Anomaly - Characters that either deal damage by focusing on anomalies, or those that buff anomaly.

Ether Veil - [Needs to be added] Characters that can create an ether veil and/or takes advantage when a teammate creates one.

Expert - For characters that are the hardest to play, currently only Banyue and Harumasa.

Heal - Characters that can heal.

HP Manipulation - Characters that will lower and raise their own health to either buff themself, or deal damage.

Needs XXX - Characters who need either another character or character type to be effective. Currently only Soukaku who needs an Ice DPS, and Pan Yinhu who needs a Rupture DPS.

PEN - Characters who are focused around PEN, currently only Rina.

Quickswap - [Needs to be updated or removed since most characters want this playstyle.] For characters that want to continue swapping in and out and not take much field time.

Second Attack - Characters that want to be paired with another attack character to support them instead of being the main DPS themself. Currently only Seed and Orphie.

Sheer Force - For characters who focus around using Sheer Force for either damage and/or buffing.
Shield - Characters that create shields.

Stun - Characters that need the enemy to be stunned. Only Hugo.

DPS - The main DPS of the team. Rupture agents, on-feild Anomaly agents, & main Attack agents.

Supportive-DPS - Secondary DPS characters who either provide anomaly from off-field or provides buffs alongside their damage.

Stun - Stun agents.

Support - Support and Defense agents.
